My feedback for Evidence Matters is generally positive, however my feeling is that I prefer renting to home ownership for many households. Home ownership is not cheap and I feel subsidized housing is wrong, if you are scrapping together money for a mortgage you cannot afford home ownership. There are big bills associated with home ownership and to properly take care of a home you need cash not loans to really make it owning a home. My other comment is loans for creating rental units for lower income households - why are we in a rut of loans - why not take a not perfect property that is not up to date and needs some repairs or majore repairs and use this for the homeless and lower income families.
