The Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) Housing Task Force strongly recommends that HUD PD&R develop capacity to provide states and local jurisdictions with improved disability data in order to ensure the needs of people with disabilities are accurately considered when these entities comply with the new Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Rule. While data on other covered classes under the Fair Housing Act are included, critical disability data are missing, including data on the housing needs of extremely low income people with disabilities living in nursing facilities, other institutions and group quarters.
