Timing of FY2011 Income Limits - Peter_Kahn - 04-01-2011

Thank you for your question. HUD’s FY2011 estimates of median family income and their associated income limits are expected to be published in the next several weeks. We wish that we could provide an exact date; however, given that new sources of data are available from the Census Bureau, we are working as hard as possible to incorporate this new data and ensure the best possible estimates.

Any word from the Census about when the 2010 information will be available to calculate new census block group income information? We expect that we may have a change.

HUD limits tables by Area - GaryS - 06-16-2011

Hello,

I'm trying to compile the Median Family Income for each Metro Statistical Area only.

Will the Median Family Income "Estimated FY 2011 Decile Distributions by Area" PDF or Word files be published later? Or will they not be published, and said data only available via they database portal? Also, is it possible to get those tables in a excel format (with their respective CBSA numbers)?

The Section 8 Income Limits excel file comes close to what I need but I notice that the Metro area is not included where there are Division Areas. For example: CBSA 2274, 33124, and 48424 are published, but not 33100 (in the Income Limits file). If there is a way for me to derive the Metro's MFI from the Division that would also work.

Thanks,

Gary S.

Multifamily Tax Subsidy - nicolesteven - 02-03-2014

Multifamily Tax Subsidy Projects (MTSP) Income Limits were developed to meet the requirements established by the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 (Public Law 110-289) that allows 2007 and 2008 projects to increase over time. The MTSP income Limits are used to determine qualification levels as well as set maximum rental rates for projects funded with tax credits authorized under section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code (the Code) and projects financed with tax exempt housing bonds issued to provide qualified residential rental development under section 142 of the Code.
