I have a borrower who purchased a home on an FHA forward mortgage in January 2010. In May 2010 the borrower's previous residence in another state sold, so she used the proceeds to refinance her new home onto a HECM. FHA Connections could not process an MIP credit to be applied to the new MIP and we cannot find an answer to how to get our borrower the MIP refund we believe is due. Any suggestions or solutions?
